Fixtures

This Autumn you are invited to a monthly series of O-zone events, preceded by map and compass training for Juniors and Adults. If you only want to attend the OZONE event just turn up on the day. If you want to come to the training session then please let us know the weekend before i.e. by close Sunday 31 August (we may be able to accommodate you later than this - ring to check)

Saturday 6^th September 2008

Lancaster University

Training 1.15 – 2.30pm (meet 1.00pm)

Aimed at those who have done a few events and want to improve, perhaps to achieve their yellow, and orange colour badges.

Fees for Club members: £1 per Junior or adult. Families £3

Non Club members: £2.

O-zone Event - Start Times 1.30 - 3.00pm

There will be time after the training to take part in the accompanying O-zone event (Yellow, Orange, and Technical courses).

Fees £2 per adult, £1 per Junior

There are plenty of other orienteering events to go to in the North West. There is something on most weekends. Usually on Sunday, although beginner-friendly introductory events are often on Saturdays, and there are other events midweek too. Midweek events will require use of a headtorch in the Winter months. Some events are not publicised nationally, so it's always worthwhile checking out fixtures in other clubs' websites in the region.
