09.12.07 O-zone 2 is almost here!

The next series of four O-Zone events is under preparation and will start with the SROC New Year Cracker event on Tuesday 1st January. For details of the rest of the series take a look at the fixtures page.

17.11.07 Second O-zone training session Saturday 8 December

A second training session, suitable for adults and juniors, will be held at Beacon Fell on Saturday 8 December. This will run alongside of the SROC Junior Squad training, from 10.30 until 12.30. Anyone planning on attending needs to book a place with Martyn Roome. For more details of O action see the latest O-zone newsletter.

12.11.07 O-zone website slumbers

This website will remain live but will be updated only occasionally until the next series of events begins in 2008. Stay in touch via the SROC website.

12.11.07 Lancaster O-zone judged a great success

The series has introduced over 200 newcomers to orienteering, many enjoying two or more events. A good number have now joined SROC, and many of these joined in a special training session on 10 November. There will be more O-zone events in the future, but if you can't wait for them there are plenty more O-events to choose from around the region. Keep an eye on the O-zone and SROC fixtures pages.
